Thanksgiving 2015

Thanksgiving this year was a very reflective time.  It was good to see family, friends, and members of the community surrounding the Love Church.  We are so blessed that sometimes we tend to take the blessings of God forgranted.  This Thanksgiving we gave thanks to God for still being on the battlefield of life.  We thanked God for family, near, far , and those gone home. We heard testimony of newness of life and experience and revelation of who Jesus is.  We gave thanks for shelter, clothing, transportation, food, and the ability to still get up and go.  As we look forward to a new year, and as this year begins to come to a close.  We give thanks to God with a grateful heart, that he continues to allow us to have a part in HIs grand plan.  Even when we come short of His will  for our lives, he continues to push us in the direction toward HIm.  So as I close I would like to say to everyone who has walked through the doors at 31ST and Indiana, and have been touched in some way by the Love Church, we give thanks for you.  Some of you were sent to come along side, some were sent as a thorn in our side, and some of you were sent so we could show the world that we are the Love Church.  No matter for what reason you graced our doors, We Love you and we thank you for making us want to become more Christ Like in our everyday walk with God and man.  Thank you and God Bless you all.

THANKS GIVING

Greetings fellow laborers of love

I pray that each of you experience a blessed week this week as  the month of November comes to a close.  If you haven’t realized it yet, time appears to be passing at an excessive speed, and 2014 will be gone soon.  As we  prepare to enter 2015 (God willing) I want to express my sincere gratitude for all who have played a part in this ministry in 2014.

First, I want to thank all those who put their faith in action every week,  for your  participation in keeping our ministry viable, through all the ups and downs.  I know it may appear at times that your efforts aren’t producing any results, but may I remind you of Ecclesiastes 9:11, “…The race is not to the swift,  Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise,  Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.” As we become who God has ordained us to be, may we be more diligent to remain focused on the Vision that God has shown us, therefore, be encouraged, And with much prayer and fasting, Let us Do the work, that God has called us to do.  .

Next, I say thank you to the entire Apostles’ Doctrine Fellowship, the Love Church family.  I am grateful that you are a part of this particular  Body of Christ.  Romans 12:5, “so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.” Always remember that “You” are the Church, so let us  prepare our heart and mind for the task God has for us to accomplish in 2015.

Now, I say thank you to our Friends. Thank you for the times you have fellow-shipped with us during our worship gatherings.  Our endeavor is always be, to say or do something that would cause you to want to be a part of this mission for Christ.

Finally, I pray that each of you enjoy this life to the fullest while remembering to put Christ first in all you do.

Jesus Replied: “Love the Lord you’re your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment, and the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’  All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments” (Matthew 22:37-40)

LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE,  AND  I'M LOVING YOU!
